2025-2026
The PTA Budget is created at the start of the school year and updates are made accordingly throughout the school year. The budget shows the cash on hand and outlines the programs and activities run by the PTA, the revenue raised, and the expenditures made. Click here to see this year's proposed budget.
Bylaws
Bylaws are the document that contains the basic rules of our association; they are our contract with our membership, Michigan PTA and National PTA. Bylaws cannot be amended without previous notice to the general membership and require a large majority of votes (2/3) to make any changes. The Michigan PTA provides a required template for local units and councils to use. HWE PTA's bylaws must be reviewed and adopted at least every three years.
Meeting Minutes
2025-2026
Meeting Minutes are the written record of a meeting and typically describe the events of the meeting. The Recording Secretary is typically responsible for writing the PTA Meeting Minutes.
Protocol dictates that the meeting minutes are not posted here until they are read aloud and approved at the next PTA meeting. Therefore, the meeting minutes recorded during the May PTA minutes will not be posted here until they are read aloud and approved at the September PTA meeting.
