Spirit Wear: Closes Friday, November 14th

We’re excited to announce that our Spirit Wear store is officially open and runs today through Friday, November 14th. Shop Now: https://hickorywoods.itemorder.com/shop/home/ Choose from hoodies, long sleeve, and short sleeve t-shirts in kids and adult sizes. All proceeds support the needs of students and teachers and help build a strong sense of community within our school. Winter Shop: December 8th-12th

Our Media Center is transforming into a magical Winter Shop where students can pick out special gifts for the people they love and we need your help to make the experience unforgettable!

This is an exciting week for our students. Their faces light up as they shop with pride and independence, for some it's the very first time!

 

Winter Shop Volunteers Needed: Sign Up Here to Volunteer! (12/8-12/12)

We welcome any caring adult in your student’s life to volunteer: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, cousins, and family friends! If you’ve been looking for a fun way to be a part of our school community, this is it. It’s a heartwarming day filled with smiles, joy, and a whole lot of fun.

All Winter Shop proceeds go to our Hickory Woods Holiday Fund, which provides support for HWE families during the holiday season. Thank you for helping us create these special memories. We’re grateful for our amazing village!

 

Snack Shack:

Calling ALL KINDERGARTEN CLASSES! It's still your turn to send in some snacks for our wonderful teachers & HWE staff~ Below are some special teacher requests!

In addition to it being kindergarten's turn, any family can drop off snacks at any time. If you have extra unopened snacks at home, bring them in! The staff would love your extra Halloween candy and pop/flavored water. Please drop off your items in the PTA donation basket inside the front doors. If you’d like the PTA to shop for you, please send in a gift card with your student and have it dropped off in the office. Thank you for supporting our wonderful staff and giving them a pick me up during their day!

 

Reflections- I Belong!: Final projects due Monday, Nov. 17th

PTA Membership:

If you have not become a PTA (Parent Teacher Association) member, now is a great time to do so. Becoming a member doesn't require you to attend meetings or volunteer.
