BINGO NIGHT!: This Wednesday Feb. 25th, 6:30-7:30pm in the cafeteria

A big thank you to everyone who donated bingo prizes — you helped make this event extra exciting! We truly appreciate your generosity and support.

 

Now it’s time for some family fun! Join us Wednesday from 6:30–7:30 PM in the HWE cafeteria for a night of bingo, awesome prizes, and lots of laughs. Be sure to stop by our PTA table just outside the cafeteria. We’ll have volunteer information, details about the activities the PTA supports at HWE, upcoming events, and more. We can’t wait to see you there!

 

We’re also looking for a few parent volunteers to help with setup, cleanup, and to work alongside our amazing NHS and NJHS students. It’s a great way to be part of the fun! We can’t wait to see you there!

We Need YOU — Our Amazing Parent Volunteers

Our PTA makes incredible things happen for our students, but we can’t do it without the support of parents like you! Whether you have one hour to give or are ready to take on a leadership role, there’s a place for you in our volunteer community.

 

We understand everyone’s schedule looks different — some opportunities happen during school hours, but many can be done from home or on your own time (think: shopping for an event, researching ideas, reaching out to local partners, creative projects, or helping with tech tasks).

Our goal is to meet you where you are and find a way for you to contribute that fits comfortably with your family’s routine.

 

Every volunteer effort, big or small, helps us continue creating fun activities, special events, and lasting memories for our students — the kind they’ll carry with them for years to come.

Snack Shack: Calling all Fifth, ASD & SXI Grade classes- It’s Your Turn to Treat Our Amazing Teachers & HWE Staff! Let’s show our appreciation by stocking the lounge with some of their favorite snacks and drinks! We’ve had a few special requests come in, and we’d love your help filling the shelves.

Our wonderful teachers could use:
Pop (regular & diet)
Juice
Candy

Some favorite requested items include:
Alani Energy drinks
Premier Protein drinks
Starbucks Frappuccino bottles
Chips, crackers & pretzels
Granola
Ramen cups
Gummy candy
Chomps

Every donation — big or small — makes a difference and keeps our staff fueled and feeling appreciated. Reminder: ANY family can drop off snacks at ANY time. Have extra unopened snacks at home? Send them in! Thank you for helping us spoil the incredible team that does so much for our kids every single day!

HWE Urban Air Event!: March 10th 12:00-7:00 (12-4:00 is reserved just for HWE!)

On March 10th from 12:00- 4:00pm Urban Air will be open just for our Hickory Woods kiddos! We will send home a flyer prior to. You will need to mention HWE or present the flyer when purchasing tickets to get the discounted rate.
